Lakeside Italy day tour · Last updated: 17 October 2026

1. Who we are

The Lakeside Italy day tour is organised and sold by Italy Bespoke Tours Srls, trading as Lakeside Italy, Via dei Mille 13, 22100 Como, Italy, VAT 04005400132, an IATA accredited travel agency and tour operator (IATA No. 38288213). You can reach us at info@lakesideitaly.com or +39 351 339 9365. By booking the tour you accept these terms.

2. The tour

The tour is a small-group day trip for 4 to 7 guests that starts and ends in Como. It includes transport in a Mercedes V-Class with a professional driver, ferry tickets from Cadenabbia to Bellagio, and lunch at a typical restaurant (antipasti, a first course, water, two glasses of regional wine and coffee), with free time in Menaggio and Bellagio. The itinerary and times are indicative and may change for practical reasons such as traffic, ferry schedules or weather.

This is not a guided tour. The driver will gladly answer your questions but is not a tour guide. In Italy, guiding requires a specific licence.

3. Booking and confirmation

You send us your preferred date and number of guests by email, phone or WhatsApp. Your booking is confirmed when we reply with a written confirmation and we have received your payment. Each departure runs once 4 guests have booked, and we confirm the departure at least 3 days before the date. If the minimum is not reached, we will offer you another date or a full refund. The maximum group size is 7 guests.

4. Price and payment

The price is €289 per person, including the services listed in section 2. It does not include personal expenses, food or drinks beyond the lunch menu, tips, or travel insurance. Payment is requested when your booking is confirmed, by the method we send you (for example a secure payment link). Prices already include VAT where applicable.

5. Cancelling your booking

You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the tour. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start, and no-shows, are non-refundable, and the full price remains due. To cancel, email us at info@lakesideitaly.com. Refunds, where due, are paid within 14 days using the original payment method.

Because the tour is a leisure service for a specific date, the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply (Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code). Your right to cancel under this section is a contractual right.

6. Changes or cancellation by us

We may change the order, timing or details of the tour when this is necessary for safety or because of events outside our control, such as bad weather, ferry disruption, road closures or force majeure. If we have to cancel a tour, we will offer you another date or a full refund. Beyond that, we are not liable for compensation, except where the law requires it.

7. Meeting point and punctuality

The meeting point in Como is sent in your confirmation email. Please arrive on time. We will try to contact you if you are late, but we cannot delay the schedule for the other guests, and a guest who does not reach the group is treated as a no-show.

8. Your responsibilities

  • Please behave considerately towards other guests, the driver and local people. We may refuse to carry anyone whose behaviour is unsafe or disruptive, without refund.
  • Tell us at booking about any allergies, dietary needs, mobility needs or health conditions that may affect the day. Guests must be able to take part safely.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them.
  • During free time in Menaggio and Bellagio you are responsible for yourself and for any activities, purchases or services you arrange. They are not part of this contract.
  • Please follow the driver’s safety instructions, including wearing seat belts, and be back at the agreed place and time to continue the tour.

9. Food and allergies

We pass the dietary information you give us to the restaurant, but we cannot guarantee that a meal is free from any allergen. Guests with severe allergies take part at their own responsibility.

10. Our responsibility

We are responsible for the services we provide, as required by Italian law, including when they are provided by our drivers or partners. Ferry and restaurant services are also subject to the conditions of those providers. We are not responsible for events outside our control, for your personal belongings, or for damage caused by a guest’s own conduct. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Insurance

Italy Bespoke Tours Srls holds the professional indemnity insurance required by Italian law for travel organisers. We recommend that you take out your own travel insurance, including cover for cancellation and medical expenses.

12. Complaints

If something is not right, please tell the driver or contact us straight away so that we can try to fix it during the tour. You can also write to info@lakesideitaly.com, ideally within 10 days of the tour, and we will reply as soon as possible.

13. Privacy and cookies

We handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. Consumers keep the rights they have under the mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to them, including the right to bring a dispute before the court of their place of residence where the law provides for it.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on this page when your booking was confirmed.
